SPRING AT FORGE 2
Spring at last! Celebrate with Forge 2 and join us at the launch of our Spring exhibition on 30th March. During the evening of 5th April enjoy a glass of wine with us when we will be hosting a Silent Auction in aid of Macmillan Support. There will be the opportunity of bidding for some wonderful art - a very worthy charity and one we have been supporting for some time now. Please see our website for further details.
Spring provides the inspiration for our first exhibition of 2013 and features work by artist printmakers Angela Harding, Rosalind Forster, Andrew Haslen and Sue Brown and also local artist, Caroline Chappell exhibiting some of her recent paintings. We have hand blown glass from Loco Glass, Island Porcelain birds, fruit from Penkridge Ceramics, and domestic ware from Stuart Carey and Julia Davey and vases from Jo Davies of London. Shaker boxes from James Morgan, wooden vessels from Jennifer Dore and beautiful textile birds from Emma Verner-Webb. Metalwork from Artist Blacksmith Katie Lake and handmade journals by Edel Hopkin and Jemma Lewis using stunning hand made marbled papers. There are many more artists and of course we have kept some of your favourites from previous years too!
As usual here are the dates for your diary. We look forward to catching up with our friends, old and new!
